Dear Gaudet Learning Academy Community,  

I am excited to welcome our new and returning students and families to the Gaudet Learning Academy for the 2023 - 2024 school year.  This year Gaudet Learning Academy will include students in Grades 4 & 5. I look forward to meeting you all soon!     

Gaudet Learning Academy is a Grade 4 & 5 school in Middletown, Rhode Island.  Our building is located within Gaudet Middle School.  Gaudet Learning Academy has approximately 350 students and 35 staff. The teachers at Gaudet Learning Academy are passionate about teaching and learning, this is what makes Gaudet Learning Academy (GLA) a great place for students. Teachers challenge students with lessons that are rigorous, engaging and meet all students' learning styles/needs while integrating technology.

This year, we are excited to be implementing a new ELA curriculum K-5.  Along with ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies our students participate in Art, Music, French, Library/STEM, PE and Health, and more.

We know that last school year was challenging for all.  We are looking forward to a year where students will have more opportunities to collaborate and engage in challenging learning activities while continuing to build relationships with teachers and peers.  At Gaudet Learning Academy we will continue to ride the WAVE and celebrate students' positive choices and hard work.
