• WTS-Rhode Island Scholarship

My name is Louisa Miller, I am a transportation engineer at Bowman Consulting, and I am writing to inform you that WTS Rhode Island is accepting applications for our WTS-RI Scholarships! All women interested in pursuing a career in transportation-related professions are strongly encouraged to apply. Junior College/Trade School Students should apply to the Junior College/Trade School scholarship. The winner will receive a check from the WTS Foundation in the amount of $1,000 and will have their scholarship application forwarded to WTS International for consideration in a national-level scholarship contest.
High School Students should apply to the Transportation YOU High School Scholarship. The winner will receive a check from the WTS Foundation in the amount of $1,000 and will have their scholarship application forwarded to WTS International for consideration in a national-level scholarship contest.
Scholarship applications must be submitted by 4:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2024 to be considered.
• United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship Program

Each year, the U.S. Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation grants $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at an accredited post-secondary college or university. Scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited vocational or industrial school. The number of grants awarded annually is at the discretion of the Foundation and must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study. Checks awarded will be made out in the name of the recipient and the educational institution of the recipient's choice.
The Rhode Island JCI Senate makes available, by way of the US JCI Senate, to graduating high school seniors throughout the state, the necessary application forms for determination of the recipients of the scholarship grants.
The complete applications are available to graduating high school seniors in Rhode Island. Applications are available at https://www.usjcisenate.org/index.php/scholarship-program. Click on Scholarship Program then 2024- 2025 Foundation Scholarship Application of your choice. Don't forget to download the Student Application Checklist. We are offering a Grand Prize of $15,000 to use towards school expenses and a monthly prize of $2,500! Additionally, each quarter a student who meets the required criteria for the Building the Workforce of the Future Scholarship Prize will be eligible to win a $2,500 quarterly prize for use towards school expenses.
